Bernanke did not cause this mess we all can agree on that but he was used to misled people as he was praised as the depression expert who was for a long time in denial of the problems. If it was for political reasons (more likely) or for misjudgement I cannot prove but its not important as the real actors are barely the ones we have in the public limelight.

One Senator put it the right way the slow death does not help anyone - it got to be bold and quick as Obama promised but did/ could not deliver.
